Queen Anne's Revenge brings together three veterans of the San Francisco music scene: John Lakian on drums, Bob Spector on bass and Sean Chiki on guitar.

John Lakian started playing drums at age 7, when his mother bought him The Walt Disney Drumset. After breaking the bass drum head and beleving his relieved mother’s advice the set was “broken” , his career was put on hold until age 11, when his mother finally acquiesced and bought him a snare drum. With pillows and a music stand substituting as high hat and toms, he was on his way to playing trap again. After buying a 5 piece kit he started his first rock band at age 13 – Going Knowhere!? After playing with endless jazz and rock outfits throughout high school and college as well as some metal bands in his early twenties, he formed the band Verago-go with two ladies from Boston in 1993. Verago-go was signed to Curve of the Earth Records, a small indie label in Boston. Lakian also joined Lucky Gold–another small indie band from Boston. Upon moving to San Francisco, Lakian answered an ad in the Guardian and joined Dolly Rocker. (Where he met fellow QAR guitar player/singer Sean Chiki). Sean also introduced Lakian to The Andy Peters Show, in which he has played for several years. Lakian also did a brief stint with Nedelle (Kill Rock Stars) and The Society of Rockets as well as playing with the current QAR lineup in the band Go Go Galaxion Lakian has shared the stage with Indie Favorites Sleater-Kinney, Pansy Division, Morphine, Mary Timony and Helium, Mary Lou Lord, and J Mascis, amoung others. He has been featured in several media outlets including NPR. He has also worked with recording engineers Ross Humphries (GooGoo Dolls) and Andrew Mudrock (Godsmack) . “The highlight of my so-called career, besides playing with the guys from Queen Ann’s Revenge, was when the late Mark Sandman of Morphine, after seeing me play, told me I played a ‘nice set’. Being the music dork that I am, I almost passed out!

Bob Spector has played a lot of guitar for a lot of, well, interesting bands. You may have heard of The Andy Peters Show or Varsity Drag or Zachariah or Trio Blanco (aka Glory Hole--don't ask!) or Buzzard's Luck or The Specs or The Culprits or even Sal Fortunato (but that was in Chicago...) Bob is currently playing guitar with Brittany Shane, The Drunkees, and Petty Theft in the San Francisco area--and solo here and there! Oh, and he plays bass with Queen Anne's Revenge!

Sean Chiki has been playing music since 1986 when he joined his first band, Johnny Zhivago & the KGB (subsequently the Mad Daddies and then The Blind). In 1987, he and a few other noise enthusiasts created the experimental collective SVS Sound Lab, a project he has kept in one state of existence or another over the years. Through the nineties, he worked with a number of avant garde recording projects- White Trash, Sirius B and Sodom-Apples. Coming to San Francisco in 1996, he joined the Paul McCartney cover band Broken Wings with the as yet unknown Andy Peters. With Andy he formed the recording-only project Estrada and soon joined him and Bob Spector in the Andy Peters Show as keyboardist and then guitarist. He played bass with Dolly Rocker where he met John Lakian, joining both him and Bob Spector for the demise of Go Go Galaxion. Besides Queen Anne's Revenge, Sean works as audio producer for Atomic Radio Hour and as sound designer and house composer for Pullover Productions.
